Soft cut gaskets and sheets

Soft cut gaskets are a group of gaskets for general service. The fibres can be aramid, glass fibre, carbon or inorganic material. Common for all is that the fibres are bonded together with other filler materials and encapsulated with an elastomeric binder (NBR,SBR etc.).

The gaskets may have different temperature and pressure ranges.

BAM 6000

Inorganic fibergasket based on a combination of aramide fibre and mineralwool. The binder is based on Nitrile. The material is free of N - nitrosoamines which is health destrucive.

IFG 5500

A specially formulated inorganic asbestos-free fibre gasketing which exceeds the parameters of aramid fibre reinforced gasketing in thermal stability, torque retention, sealability and weight loss.
As inorganic fibres do not oxidize IFG provides greater thermal and dimensional stability during process cycling.

Paper sheeting

A premium quality cellulose fibre impregnated with a glue/glycerine composition. An economical general purpose material with excellent oil and fuel resistance, withstanding solvents. Principally used in automotive applications.
