VPTG-Compact

Installing procedure VPTG Compact test gasket

 

1. Control the test gasket for any damage. There should be no marks or damage on the gasket.

2. Place two bolts at an angle of 180 degrees in the flange.

3. Mount the test flange and place the VP-TG COMPACT test ring in between.

4. Tighten up the two bolts 180° opposite each other until the flanges have 360 o contact.

5. Mount the rest of the bolt and tighten them by hand, they should not be loose.

6. The connection is now ready for testing.

NOTE
With larger test flanges it is necessary to relieve the weight of the flange so that the test ring is not deformed under mounting. Remember to control the parallelity of the flanges. The flanges do not need to be tightened until bolt moment, the surfaces only need to meet.
