PE

PE - Polyethylene - supplied in different qualities:
PE-LD (PEL) low density, soft and flexible.
PE-HD (PEH) high density, hard and more stable.
PE-HD 500 og 1000 very high density, very high abrasion resistance.

A material with low water absorption, often used in the food production industry. Especially good material at low temperatures.

Temperature range from -50 to +80 C, but PE-HD 1000 can be used down to -260 C.

Very good electrical insulating properties. UV-glamouring can damage PE, but can be stabilised by using black colour.
